I’m going to throw a quick shout out to Emily Dickinson, because today is her birthday! She went most of her life not being recognized for her amazing writing skills and then died and went quite a while still without being recognized. Does it really matter that you are or are not recognized for something you’ve done in your life or is it more important the effects you’ve had on others during or after your own lifetime. It is just something I think about. But, it doesn’t really relate to me since I don’t really create anything for others to see or consume. I’m quite content with just being a passing part of peoples lives if I have made a positive impact.
[SPOILER ALERT: Hamlet] Anyways, Hamlet has just killed Polonius, so I should probably continue working on my packet.
